There are three ways that you can experience pvp in the world of Warcraft right now and this pvp guide will attempt to show them. The three ways are Open-World Pvp, Arena pvp and Battlegrounds pvp. All of these are distinct and different in their own way, but they have one thing in common and that is to defeat your enemies.
Let’s take a look at the strategies in WOW pvp guide:
WOW pvp: Tip # 1 – Open-World pvp:
Over large areas on the pvp server there is what as known as ganking and if you’ve played the game for a while you may well know what I mean. Basically I’m sure most of us at some point or another have experienced our corpse being camped by an evil Horde player or an Alliance player who is extra keen. There were also those individuals that searched for victims knowing that that they would turn up in certain spots such as quest sites or gathering routes. Wintergrasp has been introduced which is a region in Northrend. Here you will find that open-pvp is more organised than before. The main aim here is to take control of a fortress. One strategy that is highlighted in this pvp guide is to make sure you prioritise your targets and always go for the enemy siege machines. They cannot be healed or repaired if destroyed.
World of Warcraft pvp guide Tip # 2 – Battlegrounds pvp:
In this section of the pvp guide I will try and describe some of the more common battlegrounds in the game. In Alterac Valey the main aim is to kill the other teams in general. If you kill them quicker then your team can capture the base towers and take the tough guards within. The maximum people allowed in this battleground are 80. For Eye of the Storm the objective is to be the first player to reach 2000 points. Warsong Gulch means you have to capture the flag and use a strategy to do so. One tactic is to make 2 teams and have one defend the flag and the other capture the other flag. Strand of the Ancients is a miniature version of Wintergrasp, with almost the same objective. Then finally there is Arathi Basin where you have to take and hold as many points of interest as possible. If you want a great strategy then that would be to capture the Blacksmith first.
Pvp guide Tip # 3 – Arena pvp:
This type of pvp is the most demanding and the pvp guide acknowledges that. Your performance in this arena must be perfect. Voice chat is incredibly important to succeed. If you stand back rather than rush into a battle head long then you have a better chance in my opinion.
The tips revealed in this article will be invaluable when attempting to perform better in the world of warcraft arena. Make sure you give yourself the best possible chance to do well.
